Duty
Most general-purpose TEFC machines in the catalog are intended for continuous duty (S1) on pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors. Short-time or intermittent duty, frequent starts, or inverter supply may need a different series (for example YVF2 for VFD or YEJ for brake). Match enclosure (typically IP55 / IC411 TEFC) to dust, moisture, and washdown at the site.

General-purpose IE2/IE3 TEFC (Y2/YE3) covers most S1 pump, fan, and conveyor duty. Use YVF2 when the process needs a VFD, YEJ when a brake is required.
